The Noisefloor

The Noisefloor is a shared facility for audio creativity – a sound lab for experimentation, sonic exploration, production, art and design. Falling somewhere between rehearsal room, recording studio and production suite it offers what many people sorely need for their audio practice: a dedicated, affordable, sonically treated, professionally equipped space in which to work.

Set in Music Base in Edinburgh, a building dedicated to the arts, The Noisefloor offers industry standard equipment and software, a soundproofed and treated room plus electronic workshop space to anyone working with audio. When the limitations of a rehearsal space won’t cut it and a recording studio is prohibitively expensive or surplus to requirement, The Noisefloor fits the bill.

Whether you require regular sessions or just a couple of hours there are several, flexible ways to use the Noisefloor.
